My Story

I have always felt an overwhelming urge of wanderlust to get out and explore the world.  Ever since I flew on an airplane at the age of 12 to Florida, I was hooked on travel.  In high school, I visited Spain and knew I'd be back.  In college, I studied abroad in Madrid and used it as a springboard to explore Europe.   I haven't stopped traveling since. Luckily, my husband shares my passion for travel, and we are also passing that on to our three kids, who can't seem to get enough of it.  We love to travel independently, as a couple, and as a family.

People often say, you are from Wisconsin, you must not get out travelling much.  But once we start talking about our travelers, they are very surprised how well-traveled these traveling cheeseheads are!

We love to try and get the true experience of a place-- the local food, culture, and customs.  I tend to lean toward luxury travel and will pay more for unique experiences but I also shop around to find great deals!
